ENGINE TROUBLE DELAYS SCOW

, _. GISBORNE, ISth May. . The auxiliary schooner, Orini, which left Whakaiaiie. seven days a;o for' Wellington, put'into Gisborne last night with, engine trouble. After leaving Whakatane. the vessel ran into-a southerly gale and sheltered for three days under Cape., Runaway. Soon after resuming the journey the magnetos of both engines gave out. The vessel expects to leave for Wellington late to-night. The schooner was formerly owned by the East Coast Co-operative Freezing Company, and has been sold to Gold" iiighaii) and Beckett, of Wellington, who are to take delivery at Wellington.'
