THE FUTURE OF WOOL
The latest monthly bulletin of the Wool Textile Delegation,, referring to the question of values, states : "Opinions are sharply divided on the cause of this present slump. On one side it is freely asserted that the 'shortage' argument has been overdone, and the inevitable collapse after a spell of overvaluation has come upon us. Another view is inclined to attribute the change of events to the machinations of speculators. Many may still be found who believe that the fall is not 'real,' but only temporary, and this belief in the shortage of material -relative to the de mand for woollen and worsted fabiics confirms them in the view that prices are bound to recover to a much bettor level."
