A meeting of the' Loyal Wellington Past Grands' Lodge, Manchester Unity, 1.0.0. F., was, held on Friday evening. The following officers presided :-' Bros. J. H. Kraft, president; H. R. Johnson, vice-president; H. Dormer, lecture master ;L. Kitchen, warden; F. Taylor, guardian : and R. K. Couper,.secretary. The president extended a warm welcome to Bro.' Whittington, of Loyal Ahuriri P.G.s Lodge, Napier district, and lodge honours were accorded, to which Bro. Whittincrtbn suitably replied. A programme of dates has been drawn, up for the judges to visit all town and sub-yu-baii lodges for the ritual competition in connection with the Steffensen Shield. After formal business had been transacted, refreshments were provided, and a pleasnnt time was spent. A hearty vote of thanks was passed 10 Bro. Burnett for 'arranging the refreshments.
