Cowan M.p" is finding the greatest difficulty'in organising Empire Shopping Week. Very few towns hay to show only Empire products. The. Army and Navy Stores are practically the only London shop to do so. She adds : "Women forget patriotism when they go shopping. Not even for one week a year can the heart of the Empire forego its fwe;"-n goods, its French, clothes, German 'toy*, and American tinned foods." Nevertheless Lady .Cowan is undismayed, and is organising a ball, at the Hyde Park Hotel, with a: supper to consist solely of Empire foods. •• -, - :
