AIRCRAFT IN COLLISION
TWO LIVES LOST.
(AUSTRALIAN-NEK ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received 4th May, 10 a.m.) LONDON, 3rd May. A seaplane and an aeroplane collided over the mouth of the Riven Eden. The aeroplane landed safely, but the seaplane buried itself in mud, and the pilot and the observer were smothered.
