' So far as is known, 24 were killed and 20 injured. The smash is reported to have been due to unknown persons removing bolts, from the sleepers on the line. The train was maimed by a Polish personnel. • (Received 4th May, 10 a . n]f ) WARSAW, 3rd May. I here is great concern in Poland in regard to the catastrophe to the German ■train passing (he "Polish corridor." It is generally suspected that the object of the perpetrators was to discredit Poland by creating the impression that Germany cannot safely exercise the right of transit through the corridor, and it is feared that Germany will use the incident as an argument for the abolition of the corridor. It is stated that several similar, but smaller, incidents have recently occurred in different parts of Poland.
