GISBORNE, 3rd May. The death occurred in the Cook Hospjtal this morning of John Frederick Knight, fifteen years of age. as the result of injuries received in being gored by a bull on his parents' farm at Makauri on 27th April. DUNEDIN, 3rd May. A man named "\Valter Craig Walker,' aged fifty-seven, and a well-known local teacher of shorthand, was found dead in the garden at his residence yesterday, with his throat cut. At the inquest a verdict of suicide while denressed through ill-health' was returned. **"
