_ V.M.C.A. experienced little difficulty in accounting for Thistle at Anderson Park In the first spell Thistle were called on to defend their goaL and after V.M.C.A. had been hammering at the net for some time Duncan miskicked the ball through his own goal. V.M.C.A. kept up the attack, and eventually Ballard sent the ball in hard from the left. 2-0. Shortly after the second spell had commenced Wallace scored with a swift shot, 2-1. Thistle, however, could not ■withstand the pressure, and before time was called V.M.C.A. had increased their lead with two more goals, making the final score 4-1. Mr. Coffin refereed.
