Romantic episodes in the American j *? Inde Penclence are shown in "Love a,nd oaenfice," now screening at the Artcraft Theatre. The story is picturised from Robert W. Chamber's famous book, \"America," and has been directed by that wizard of the silver screen, D. W. Griffith. -A: feature of the picture is Paul Reveres famous ride 101; liberty, and the battle of Bunker Hill receives special attention. There is a tender. l ove slo ry running through the picture, in which a haughty beauty is loved by an express rider who eventually wins her by the force of his personality. Carol Dempster. Neil Hampton, and Lionel Barrymore are in the leading roles. The incidental music oaa been specially selected.
