The Hutt B v. Petone senior gama was played on tho Hutt Recreation Ground m a continuous downpour of r?i m ' £ nd resnlted in a drawn game 1 ■\ Ia.y.waa alway fl interesting, but never brilliant, and it was well into the second spell before any score was'registered, Hutt obtaining a rather lucky goal through a Petone player in attempting to clear a shot inadvertently placing the ball in his own net. The Petone forwards immediately retaliated in •i vigorous rush, F. Lindop equalising with a shot which gave Atkinson no chance of stopping. Petone almost scored again, Dunsford netting from a foot outside the circle, which was by this time practically indistinguishable. No . further score resulted, The referee was Mr. W. Keys.
