LONDON, 24th March. Tor some time past Mr. F. T. Sandford (Migration Officer) has been in negotiation with the Overseas Settlement Committee, and to-day finality was reached in an agreement between the New Zealand Government and the Imperial Government in relation to the cost of the passages for assisted settlers. Thelrcement is to come into force on Ist April and will continue in operation for a period of three years.
