DEATH ON A DOORSTEP

AUCKLAND, This Day. Ueorge Harrison, aged 61, called at a boardinghouse on Sunday morning and asked for food. H o was given something to eat, but left the meal unfinished, and lay down on the doorstep. iii was covered as a protection against the cold, and later was found dead, .there was a bottle of methylated spirits in his pocket. The body was removed to the morgue for an inquest.
