VANCOUVER, 21st April. The steamer Raifuku Maru foundered off Halifax. Her S.O.S. called up the Homeric, which witnessed the vessel's sinking from a distance, but reached the spot too late to save the whole crew. Forty-eight out of sixty were lost.
