SILVERSTREAM SOCIAL CLUB
The Silverstream Social Club (Incorporated)^ held its annual meeting last night. The balance-sheet was read and adopted, and matters relating to club affairs were discussed. There was a small credit balance, but the outgoing president (.Mr. Guard) urged that mem bers must make a ereater effort durin the coming year if the club was to progress as it should- Matters regarding the proposed leasing of the club's ball and the means of raising a mort gage were left to the incoming committee to decidfi The following "officers were elected :—Chairman, Mr. Cooper: secretary, Mr. J. A. Loughlin ; treaurer. Mr. Langdon ; auditors" Messrs. E. Guard and Jackson : committee, Messrs. Cleaver. Jackson, Deller, Scott, Webb, Rosewarne. Lowe.
