The suggestion that the matter should go to arbitration was acceptable to both candidates, but it was not till evening that tho personnel of the tribunal was agreed upon. Mr. R. A. Wright was nominated by Mr. Forsyth, Mr. John .Hutcheson by Mr. Norwood, and finally after the consideration of .1 large nuraber of possible adjudicators, the candidates agreed upon Mr. D. G. Clark : Commissioner of Taxes.
