A meeting of the creditors of Arthur Leopold Raven, land agent, who dis"appea'red. eight months "ago; 'leaving £1750 owing to creditors, was held today. A letter from the' Under-Secretary of Internal Affairs instructed -,the Assignee to investigate bankrupt's affairs. Itstated the costs of the' bankruptcy proceedings^ would be met out of the £500 bond money 'if no bthtg " assets exist. Tho Assignee said he did not know where the bankrupt was. It would probably take a. large part of the £500 to get him back. He was instructed to employ an accountant to examine bankrupt's books preliminary to taking legal advice on the various claims. '
