John Thomas ,-Martin, a middle-aged dairy farmer, of Pembroke road, a married man with a large family, was arrested on a charge of the murder of a young man named' Thomas Hendrick, aged nineteen, who was found lying on the roadside within the borough at 7 o'clock last evening, and who succumbed before arriving at the hospital. _ There was a smashed push bicycle beside the victim, who was terribly injured, and signs were discovered that the body had been dragged about-sixty feet, apparently by a motor vehicle, which disappeared.
