The Imperial Economic ■ Committee held its first meeting at the officeß of ihe Board of Trade. Sir Philip Cun-liffe-Lister, President, of the 'Board" "of Trade, welcoming the Empire-wiSo representatives, emphasised the importance of the development of Imperial resources and mutual trade. He promised that the Government would do-its iiU most to assist the work of the committee. .. ,
