ENGLISH PRICES DECLINE
LONDON, 17th March.
Wheat cargoes had a dramatic slump, following on the American decline. Quotations are nominal, but probably 2s to 3s down. Business at present *is impossible. Parcels are difficult of sale, with prices substantially lower. Liverpool futures :—March, 12s 4d a bushel; May, 11s lid; July, 11s lOd.
