LONDON, 18th March. Ine House of Lords passed the second reading of the Moneylenders Bill. Lord Carson disclosed the fact that a young relative had lost money in racin» and a bookmaker introduced a moneylender to whom he repaid the whole sum borrowed plus SO per cent, compound interest, and still owed £600 He prayed that his bitterest enemy might escape the clutches of the moneylender
