Tho steamer Willaston, which is expected on the New Zealand coast early in April with Canadian and New York cargo to discharge has been chartered by the Union Company for the. trans-Pacific service. TERAWHITI FOR NEW PLYMOUTH. .The tug Terawhiti left Wellington last evening for New Plymouth to. tow back to this port the Union Company's steamer Corinna, which is to have a new tail shaft fitted to replace that broken recently off the Taranaki coast. Captain E. H. Wilson is in command of the Terawhiti. THE CORNWALL. The F.S.N. Company advises that the Cornwall, which arrived at Napier yesterday morning from Timaru, will now leave Napier on Saturday for Wellington to load, instead of Wanganui roadstead, owing to congestion at the latter port. She will later proceed to Wanganui roadstead and Lyttelton, and will leave Lyttelton finally on the 9th April for Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester, Cardiff, Avonmouth, and Londou. NOTICES TO MARINERS. . The Wellington Harbour Board notifies that on and after the 10th March, 1925, the dredger Whakarire will be operating on Falcon Slioai to the westward of the main channel inside the entrance to Port Nicholson. When on her station the dredger will exhibit, vertically disposed, and where they can best be seen, -the followiug signals :—Between sunrise and suiiset two black spherical shapes; and between sunset . and sunrise two red lights. When the dredger is not on her station, her moorings will be marked by a mooring-boat, Which will exhibit a fixed .white light between sunset and sunrise. Vessels should pass eastward, and not approach within two cables of the dredger's position. Information is hereby given that the request weather reports by radio service, which has been in operation since September, 1923, and by which shipmasters may, on request, obtain weather reports of certain coastal localities from the radio stations at Wellington, Auckland, and Awanui, has been amended. In future this service will continue to be carried out by Wellington and Auckland radio stations only, and will not be performed by Awanui radio station. MARAMA DUE S.-P.M. TOMORROW. ' The Shaw-Savill liner Arawa will now leave Wellington to-morrow afternoon for Duncdiu, to Complete discharge of cargo loaded at Loudon. The Hororata, continuing discharge of Liverpool cargo to the agency of the F.S.N. Company, leaves Lyttelton to-night for Dunedin.
