■ Sea-fights, shipwrecks, and slavery' are told of in Rafael Sabatini's'novel of the Spanish Main, entitled "Captain Blood," the-attraction now showing , at' the Strand Theatre. The story of how Dr. Blood incurs the anger of King James, a wotfnded man, who was one of Manmouth's supporters in the rising against the King, is sent to Barbados as a slave, and becomes one of the most famous buccaneers of the Spanish Main, makes a splendid film drama. J. .Warren ' Kerrigan and Jean Paige occupy the leading roles. ' . ■
