Arcus v. J. H. Coates, 32 15s 6d, costa | £1 3s 6d; M'Ewen and 'Carter, Ltd., v. J. M'Coll, £7 2s 6d, costs £1 16s 6d; J. Arcus y. C. Wakelin, £2 12s 7d, costs £1 4s 6d; W. KeiT Hislop v. J. H. Fletcher, £9 18s, costs £1 13s 6d. In defended cases Packard and Boyd proceeded against H. 'Stewart for the sum of £21 Ss 9d balance alleged to be due on a contract for tha erection of a house. Judgment was given for the sum of £4 10s 9d and" costs. Mr. G. Findlay appeared for plaintiffs, and Mr. G. Hogg for defendant.

Mrs. E. A. King proceeded against her brother-in-law, E. King, for the recovery of rent of premises occupied by him, the lease of which was held by plaintiff.
