h. n. earfiel" message it was stated that Gnmmett had been presented with a sum totalling £210 10s, the gifi of an admiring public. It is not clear whether the presentations are one and the same thing. The messages may refer to separate amounts, as-one was apparently presented at the tea adjournment and the other at the conclusion of the match.
