THE GRAND HOTEL, Levin.
It will be good news for commercial travellers and the public generally to learn that Mr. J. Bebbington, who has made the Grand Hotel such a popular house for visitors, has decided to remain in Levin,'and; will continue as mine host. When the Grand was first erected to take the place of the Weraroa Hotel which was destroyed .by. fire, people said it was twenty years ahead of-, the place, and for''some time it was looked upon as a white elephant, but to-day it, can fairly claim to be one of the best conducted'and most popular commercial house's on the coast. To Mr. and jf-r Bebbington must be given the rr.!f!:i for-this. With constant care and attention to the smallest detail, the Grand has under their fostering care become the leading hotel of the district, patronised by 95 per cent, of, the commercial travellers, and, being a new and ' modern building, beautifully ' furnished, with ample reading, writing, and commercial rooms, surrounded by a balcony from which a view of the whole countryside can be obtained, the Grand Hotel is indeed the hotel par excellence- of the Horowhenua district. The hotel accommodates about 50 e;uc=ls, and there isn't a better table in tin? dominion than that provided at the Grand,
