INTERCESSORY SERVICE
_ 1 here was a good attendance at the intercessory service, hold at midday in the Concert Chamber, Town' Hall. Mr. H. \V. Kersley presided. Prayer was offered by the Rev. H. E. K. Vry and Messrs. W. J. Mason and L. A. Brimton The service .included Scripture readings as follow : Psalm 49, bv the chairman, Proverbs, 15th chapter, by ¥?■ H. S. Hart, and Matthew, 24----02-51; by Major MacFarlane; and suitable hymns accompanied on the piano by-Mr. J. Manu. e
