TIVOLI THEATRE.
The final presentation'of "A Message from Mars will be given at the Tivoli lneatre this evening by the fine dramatic company, headed by Robert fcrt-eig and Beatrice .Holloway. Beginning at to-morrow's matinee, at 2 30, ; Never Say Die" will be presented. It is a t sparkling three-act comedy, written by W. H. Post and William Collier, and is said to be an absolute scream from beginning to end, raising more laughs in one act than any other two plays put together. The plot is one that opens m a manner that savours of coming tragedy, but as the play, proceeds scene .after scene: is produced full m j? an interest and humour. Dionysius Woodbury, a millionaire, has been told by. his medical . advisers that he has not more than- a few weeks to live, and that even that, short span of life is only"' assured Jby the avoidance of any excitement. The milponaire believes this implicity, and his/life becomes one long re-" hearsal of his, death. In order to help a pretty English girl, Violet Stevenson, played by" Miss Beatrice Holloway,-and her mother, who are in difficulties, he begs the girl to do him the honour of becoming his widow.
