ROYAL AGRICULTURAL SHOW

THE FIRST IN NEW ZEALAND.

_ The initial Royal Agricultural Show in New Zealand, which takes place at Palmerston North on ; Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 4th, sth, and 6th November, will mark another period in the history of the Dominion. The Show will be held under the auspices of the Eoyal Agricultural Society of New Zealand in conjunction with the Manawatu.and West Coast Association's Metropolitan Show, and it is now an assured success so far. as' entries are concerned. It is already known that there will be a considerable number of from Australia, where Nsw Zealand stock-has already established a very good name, while several Argentine breeders have announced their intention of coming in order to procure a chaugo of stock. There will also be visitors from Canada and America.

The Show will be under the patronage of His Excellency the GovernorGeneral, Lord Jellicoe, who will take the opportunity of the gathering to Bay farewell to the people of Palmerston North leaving for England.
