STILL A CHANCE FOR MR. SIDEY
The prospect of increasing the number of races at one. meeting was dwelt —■ upon by Mr. H. T. Armstrong (Christchurch East) when speaking lon the Gaming Bill last evening. Mr. Armstrong said that they did not have more than eight races per" day. Mr. Poland (Ohinemuri): " They have fourteen a day in Australia, a£ picnics." Mr. Armstrong:" Well, we live in New Zealand. If we are going to introduce fourteen races a day we will - have to give the member for Dunedin South (Mr. T. K. Sidey) a chance to get his Daylight Saving Bill through." . ,
