On Monday, 27th October (Labour Day) the Post Office will bo closed In all its branches. Mails for dispatch on Labour Day to Wairiirapa, Hawkes Bay; Slanawatu, llangltikei, Taranaki, and Auckland. Districts, also Southern offices, will close at 6 a.m. on Monday, 27th October. Mails for dispatch to Great Britain and ■ Ireland, Continent of Europe, and America, per ; Niagara, via Vancouver, will close Chief JPost Office, Wellington, at 10 a.m. on Labour Day. These mails will include correspondence cleared from tho city and suburban receivers at midnight on Sunday, 26th October.
