■ Trainer F. N. Jones states that owing to an oversight Nigger Minstrel was left in the Melbourne Cup, when he was scratched for the Victoria Derby. The horse is not going to Melbourne," but will probably return to Now Zealand in tha1 Ulimaroa on 11th October.
