CAPIAIN BADCOCK AT AUCK-

AUCKLAND, This Day. Captain J. R. Badcock, recently appointed coach to the Wellington Cricket Association, arrived from London by the Port Caroline to-day. He' is 27 years of age, and in his prime as a batsman and bowler, though he has done his best as a batsman. He expressed the opinion that the English earn which is to play in Australia was the best available, taking last season's form as a guide. Much would depend on the captaining, but having GUligan as skipper left little to complain about.
