RELEASE OF HITLER

VETOED BY POLICE AUTHOBI-

TIES.

(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION COPYRIGHT.)

(AUSTRALIAN-NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION..)

(Received Ist October, 11 a.m.)

BERLIN, 30th September. The police authorities have vetoed the release of Herr Hitler, which was ordered by the Munich Provisional Court as from Ist October, alleging that while in confinement he actively participated in the reorganisation of illegal societies into one big organisation, called Frontbann, which aimed to overthrow the Constitution and to restore the Monarchy. The Nationalists are excited at the nonrelease of their champion. In consequence of this the Bavarian police have been ordered to be ready for all emergencies.
