DANGER TO NAVIGATION

-The Secretary, General Post Office, has received advice that the following message was broadcasted from Sydney Radio, yesterday:— "Ketch Rambler, abandoned In latitude 82, 58 S., longitude 152, 20 E., in sinking condition. A danger to navigation, derelict drifting X.N.E." The vessel is off the. north coast of New So-uth Wales.

CABGO FROM ITVERPOOL.

THE MCXERAKI.

The Moeraki was to leave Melbourne to-day for Blufl, Dunedin, Lytteltou, and Wellington, and is due here on . 9th. October. She will leave on 10th October lor Melbourne direct.

CARGO FROM NEW YORK.

The A:-and A. Line agency has been advised that the steamer City of Dunedin sailed from New York on 23Td September, and from Newport News on 26th. September, with cargo for Auckland, Wellington, liyttelton, Dunedin, Tasmaniaß ports, and Australia. She is due at Auckland ou 30th October,' and at Wellington a week later.

'. The 'Komata sails to-day for Westport to load for Wellington. , . ■ I The Kittawa sails to-day for G-reymouth to load for a return, trip. The Kaituna leaves Auckland oniJFilday and will load here on Monday for New Plymouth and the West Coast.

The Waihora was to leave Newcastle at 10 p.m. yesterday, with coal and timber for Wellington and Miramar. She is due here about Monday next. The Wanaka loads here to-morrow for Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland.

Thfv Kaimauawa leaves Newcastle about the end of this week with coal for Wellington. The Kaiapoi loads at. Devonport to-day for Wellington direct.

The Kaitau e ata,froin South Australia, is due; at Auckland ou Sunday and at Wellington about the end of next week.

The Ngatoro sails to-day for Westport to load for Wellington. The Kaniona sails to-day for Westport to load for Lyttelton. ■ a
