TRIALS AT RANDWICK.

Although the two-year-old trials were not held on the scale of recent years at Randwick, six batches of, youngsters were sprinted five furlongs while ordinary training^ operations were in progress at Rand wick1' on 17th September. New Zealand-bred horses were included in the number and showed up well. According to the Sydney "Sun," Palmyra stood out in appearance, and he easily ! beat the others in his heat, and pub up j the fastest time. .
