EMPRESS THEATRE.
_. 'The Gold Diggers" has a triple attra.o--tion—-pretty girk, prettier dresses, and, wonderful humour, which cannot fail to keep the audience at the Empress Theatre each day this week in a constant titter. The story is not much different to the usual run of Now York productions, but it is the acting that counts, and here there comes to light the natural ability of the favourite, Hope Hampton. There is an excellent comedy a»d a gazette in the supporting programme.
