QUEEN'S' THEATRE.
Thomas Meighan appears in an altogether new role at the Queen's Theatre this week in his latest picture, "The Confidence Man." As an agent endeavouring to sell worthless oil mining shares to a rich but very mean man, he is admirable. It was through Meighan's fascinating ways with a woman (Virginia Valli), who enjoyed the mean man's confidence, that Meighan achieved his object. The suppc.rts include a rollicking Christie comedy, "Done in Oil," the latest Burton Holmes Travelogue, and a Paramount Gazette. Special music is rendered by the Queen's Grand Orchestra, under Mr. A. H. Jerome.
