The "Morning Post" saj's the strong opposition to the Russian Treaty has caused Mr. Mac Donald to initiate conversations with M. Joife, in which the Russian and British financial experts will define the amount which they are willing to hand over to British claim ants, and which must satisfy 50 per cent, of the bondholders. The new treaty will include the British Government s undertaking to guarantee the in-: terest and sinking fund of a £50,000,000 loan, of which two-thirds will be left in England for the payment of goods ordered in Britain.
