CANTERBURY SHEARERS' DENIAL
(BI TEOCGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCH, 29th Sept. The secretary of the Canterbury Shearers' Union denies that a strike of shearers has been called. The union is only pointing out to the workers, he says, the legal powers they possesß as indicated by Mr. Justice Frazer, and is doing so as its duty to the organisation and in the interests of its members.
