AND EVERYBODY'S BUSINESS. Somebody remarked the other day, in connection with a public matter, ahat what was everybody's business was no- j body's v business. Who is this Mr. ' Nobody, thai he should interfere in evex-ybody"s business? j Mr. Nobody is the anonymous receiver of shuffled responsibilities. He is the Arch-shirker of the Ancient and Ignoble Order of Shirks. He is the anonymous consumer of purloined pantry luxuries, the licensed camouflage of juvenile cupidity, in which occasions he is referred to as "the cat." Fortunately for the Citizens' War Memorial Fund, an energetic and enthusiastic few have, LnUen up the burden oE the many, and are devoting tlieir time to seeing that everybody's business is well and truly done. It "is the business of everybody to contribute to the War Memorial Fund, and it is the business of the Citizens' Committee and their willing helpers to see that everybody does contribute, to see that Mr. Nobody is kept at a safe distance.
