SPEED OF 227 i MILES AN HOUR, (ONITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.—COFIRIQHT.) (RBCTSfi'S TBLEORAM.) NEW YORK, 27th September. Lieutenant David Rittenhouse, of the United States Navy, flying a Curtiss seaplane racer, broke his own world's seaplane record for a flight of 30 minutes. He attained an average speed of 227 i miles per hour.
