A car containing jlisses Kene Bewick (Uunterville) and Corelli | Bahen (dispenser at the local hospital) I was crossing the line when it was struck jby a train. The car was smashed to pieces, and .Miss Bowick was seriously injured about the head, while Miss Bahen escaped comparatively lightly. Miss Bowick, who was a contestant at the competitions yesterday, is in hospital in a serious 'condition."
