STORM IN WHEAT BELT
HAIL CAUSES SEVERE DAMAGE.

SYDNEY, This Day. A violent storm, accompanied by a heavy fall of hail, passed over the Pallamallawa wheat belt and played havoc with the wheat crops. The storm was about four miles wide, and the hail in some places was heaped up to about six inches. Windows were smashed, and roofs damaged. To repair the damage will run into many thousands of pounds.
