Mr. M.' E. Denniston: has returned from Mastortou, where he was summoned owing to the serious illness of his son. The latter is now recovering. Mr. E. J. Gravestock, the well-known concert director, who has been appointed^ special commission for amusements o" d .enjfrtamments for the. Dunedin and bouth Seas Exhibition, leaves for Sydney, to-morrow by the Maheno. He will sail from Sydney on llth October by the Osterley for London. .
