PROVISION OF A' SCHOLARSHIP

GIFT TO VICTORIA COLLEGE.

For the purpose of assisting Victoria College to obtain students of agriculture, Sir James AVilson has forwarded the sum of £1056 15s, which is to be used for the establishment. of an annual - scholarship. In a letter to the College Council, re-! iceived at a meeting held last evening, >ir James Wilson explained that the amount was represented by a sum which .had been placed in his hands for the furtherance of education.
