ST. PETER'S CLUB.
The annual ■ meeting of St. Peter's Lawn Tennis Club was held on Tuesday night, the Rev. P. Stanley presiding over a large attendance of members. In moving the adoption of the annual report and balance-sheet, 'the chairman stated that the finances of the club were very satisfactory, and that the past season had been a particularly successful one. The election of officers resulted as follows ;—President, Rev. H. Watson; vice-preeidents, Mrs. Evans Messrs. W. E. Bethune, Anderson, Wilberfoss, and Richards; hon. secretary, W. B. Mathieson (re-elected); hon treasurer, Miss Snell (re-elected); club captain, H. Dixon; vice-captain, R Thornton; committee, Misses Harrington and Wilde, Messrs. Sword and C J. Thornton; Mr. Duff was re-elected honorary auditor. • ■ ■ It-was resolved that the clul> should affiliate with the Wellington Provincial liawn lennis Association. ; A hearty vote of thanks to the outg,ol! 1 le J CT mittee' and to the chair, concluaea the meeting.
