At a meeting of the Wairarapa Power Board at Carterton. on Monday ihe treasurer's statement showed receipts for the past month : £13,195 16s 2d, which included £1075 8s 2d for the sales of current. The total receipts to date were £266,567 3s 4d, and the total payments £246,381- .105..; The tender of the Dunedm Engineering Co. at £1195 was accepted for the steel pipe line in connection with the Kourarau No. 2 scheme, and that of S. Brown, Ltd at £1895 16s Bd, and P. R:. Bailie. and Co. £8161 5s 4d, for copper wire. Martinborough consumers are to be supplied with current for cooking at lj|d per unit for approved ranges properly installed.
