VANBRUGH-BOUCICAUL'T-- SEASON. There was again a- very, large arid delighted audience at the Grand Opera llouse last I night, when the big stage success, "Mr. Pirn Passes By," was presented by. the Vanbrugh-B&ucicaulf'Com- ' pany. The brilliant piece,. - with its cirama and comedy, was excellently actid, the principals appearing in tha roles that made them famed at Home. -^The passing-by of forgetful Mr. Pirn' is^no1 ordinary smooth. passage;'it is stormy, ■ fraught \with all kinds of dangers, but the dear old delinquent wins everybody with his rare charm. The' play is remarkable;.in that it;never seems to pall Its humour is so deliciously real, and there are so many different characters contnbutmg to.it, that one is kept in an almost continual anticipation of what is to happen next. The actine of Miss Vanbrugh as: Olivia Marden, "a victim of lima forg'etfulness, rises to supreme heights, and her .husband, Mi-T Dion lioucicault, as the lovable Pirn is—well £? ls Plm> and that is enough praise. Ihe final performance of "Mr." Pirn." taln.ss place to-night,.- giving way tomorrow to the first presentation of "The Second Mrs.: Tanqueray," in which Miss Vanbrugh. will be sifph as Paula Tanqueray^ wife tf Aubrey'Tanqueray.
