11EUNION OT1 OLD BOYS.

The first-annual-reunion of the Scots College Old Boys' Association was held ■on Thursday, evening .last.'; ..-*■ The president of , the association, Mr. D. W. Virtue,; occupied the diair. Some, fiftyold boys were present, and a most enjoyable, evening- was spent. The re-., union took the form of a dinner. Apologies were received from Dr. Uttley and Mr..-Murdoch.-'regretting their inability to be present. In replying to-the .-toast of "The School,", proposed by Mr. I. H. Macarthur, Mr. L. Matheson. stated that he felt confident that the college, with the appointment of Mr. Murdoch as headmaster, would continue to forge: ahead. The president, in replying to the toast of' "The Association," briefly outlined its progress and development, aud also mentioned its activities. He spoke of the great value of, old boys' associations in genera! to colleges, and stressed, the need for every old boy of Scots College to join the Old Boys' Association. Other toasts "'honoured were '"The King," "Absent Old Boys" (proposed by Mr. -.. A. ."IS. lTuvloy), and "Kindred Associations" (propos.ed by i Mr: D. W, Virtue,..and responded to by Mr. E." 0. C. Marks). Messrs: J. T. M'Caw, I. Fraser, E. AVilson, G. Bagnall, and A. 15.
