WORK AND POLICY
OF THE REFORM PARTY.
The work and policy >,of the Reform Party .formed the subject of addresses by two Reform members, Messrs. V. H. Potter (Roskill) and ;C. E. Macinillan (Tauranga),. at a meeting .of the Lower Hutt Reform League. Th c president, Mr. H. E. Leighton was in the chair. According to Mr. Macmillan, the Reform Party had come 'well up to exp.ectatione,; and had always' been quite honourable; endeavouring' to give everyone a "square,, deal," but particularly trying to help:the "under-dog." The proof of a pudding was'in the eating, and the proof of a good Government was_ to >be. found in the number of good business deals it put- through. Mr., Potter considered that there was no jnan ojher than Mr. Massey' in: the Dominion af ; the; present time 'capable' of .handling the country.'s ;finance.
